Tapered roller bearing is mainly applicable to bear radial and axial joint load based on radial load. But steep angle tapered roller bearing can be used to bear radial and axial joint load based on axial load. This type of bearing is separable bearing, the inner ring (including tapered roller and cage) and the outer ring of which can be installed separately. The radial clearance and axial clearance can be adjusted in the process of installation and using, or can be installed with pre-interference.

If it is used alone, its additional axial force should be stronger than its auxiliary axial force. 313 series tapered roller bearing has large contact angle (27°-30°), and is able to bear larger axial load. The contact angle of other series of bearing is among 10°-18°.
